The Arvin Assembly School of the Bible exists to equip believers for the work of ministry. We believe every Christian is called to know the Scriptures, grow in spiritual maturity, and carry the gospel into everyday life.

An Invitation to Grow
Come learn to pray like it matters.
Most of us already pray. We pray over dinner, on the way to work, or when someone we love is hurting. But many of us have also wondered whether we are doing it right, why God sometimes feels distant, or what to do when our prayers seem unanswered.
THE311 Prayer and Worship is an invitation to pursue real intimacy with Christ. Together, we will explore what the Bible teaches about prayer and worship, from personal devotion to the gathered worship of the Church.
We will also consider the difficult questions: learning to hear God’s voice, persevering through unanswered prayer, and understanding how the Holy Spirit helps us pray with faith and confidence.
You do not have to be a scholar. You simply need to be
willing to come and grow.

A deeper life of prayer and worship.
Over twelve weeks, we will explore the biblical foundations of prayer and worship and develop practical habits that strengthen our relationship with Christ.
Prayer in Scripture
Examine biblical teaching and examples of prayer throughout the Scriptures.
Faith and spiritual power
Explore the relationship between faith, prayer, and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Hearing God’s voice
Consider prayer as communion with God and learn to navigate seasons when He seems silent.
Overcoming obstacles
Address unanswered prayer, spiritual discouragement, inconsistency, and other common challenges.
Biblical worship
Discover the foundations of personal and corporate worship in both the Old and New Testaments.

Individual Student
$130
Early-bird tuition
Save $25 when you register before September 6, 2026. Standard individual tuition is $155.
Add $45 for the textbook and course materials. Early-bird pricing applies to individual registration only.
Married Couple
$155
Combined tuition for both spouses
Married couples may register together at one shared tuition rate.
Add $45 for course materials per student. The married-couple rate does not apply to students seeking Global University credit.
Teen Student
$0
Tuition waived
Teen students can participate without paying course tuition.
Teen students pay only the $45 textbook and course materials fee.
Standard individual tuition is $155. Early-bird individual tuition is $130 when registration is completed before September 6, 2026. The early-bird discount does not apply to married-couple or teen registrations. Textbook and course materials are $45 per student.
Course Materials
Bring your Bible. Come ready to grow.
Students will study Scripture alongside a course textbook. Additional reading is strongly recommended to enrich the class experience and deepen personal reflection.
Prayer and Worship
An independent-study textbook with Units 1 and 2 by Cheryl Taylor and Unit 3 by Russ Michaels. Included in the $45 textbook and course materials fee.
The Spirit Helps Us Pray
By Robert Brandt and Zenas Bicket. Recommended for students who want to strengthen their understanding of Spirit-empowered prayer.
