Following Jesus Together

Discipleship is not optional.

Discipleship is not a suggestion for the spiritually elite. It is the calling of every follower of Jesus. At Arvin Assembly, we pursue spiritual growth with intentionality, grounding our lives in Scripture and learning to follow Christ together.

We believe believers grow best when biblical truth is reinforced through the life of the local church, meaningful relationships, and personal commitment.

Two Connected Pathways

Growing together. Going deeper.

We pursue discipleship through two complementary pathways: the shared life of the church and intentional personal growth through biblical teaching.

PATHWAY 01

Community discipleship

The church family grows together through Scripture, preaching, discussion, prayer, fellowship, and a shared commitment to following Christ.

PATHWAY 02

Personal discipleship

Believers deepen their understanding through structured biblical study, spiritual formation, and the Arvin Assembly School of the Bible.

Community Discipleship

Walking through the Word together.

Our church family approaches Scripture together, creating a shared rhythm of learning, reflection, conversation, and application throughout the week.

This intentional alignment helps biblical truth shape more than a single Sunday gathering. It brings the Word into our homes, conversations, prayers, and life together as a church.

Scripture should not simply be heard on Sunday. It should shape how we live all week.

A Shared Rhythm of Growth

More than a Sunday sermon.

Discipleship becomes part of everyday life through a combination of biblical teaching, personal reflection, church gatherings, and meaningful conversation.

01

Daily Scripture

Read or listen to Scripture throughout the week, allowing God’s Word to shape your thinking and renew your perspective.

02

Discipleship guides

Use thoughtful biblical resources, reflection questions, and practical applications to engage more deeply with the text.

03

Scripture memory

Commit meaningful passages to memory so biblical truth remains accessible throughout daily life.

04

Midweek gathering

Gather Wednesday evenings to study Scripture, ask questions, pray together, and grow in biblical understanding.

05

Sunday preaching

Sit under faithful, verse-by-verse preaching that opens the Scriptures and calls the church to follow Jesus Christ.

06

Shared fellowship

Grow through meaningful relationships, mutual encouragement, accountability, and life together within the local church.

“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith.” Colossians 2:6–7 · NKJV
Personal Discipleship

Grow deeper in the Word.

In addition to our shared life as a church, the Arvin Assembly School of the Bible provides opportunities for believers to pursue focused biblical study and intentional spiritual formation.

Whether you are new to the faith or have followed Christ for years, the goal is the same: to become more deeply rooted in Scripture and better equipped to live faithfully.
