We believe the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and communicate His authoritative revelation. The Scriptures establish the foundation for what we believe, how we live, and how we serve Jesus Christ.
As an Assemblies of God congregation, Arvin Assembly affirms the Fellowship’s Statement of Fundamental Truths and its commitment to a full-gospel ministry grounded in the Word of God.
The Assemblies of God recognizes four central doctrines that shape its gospel witness: salvation, baptism in the Holy Spirit, divine healing, and the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection, believers receive forgiveness, new life, and reconciliation with God.

The baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers believers for Christian witness and service. This experience is distinct from the new birth and is accompanied by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit enables.

We believe God continues to heal the sick and that healing is connected to the saving work of Christ. We pray for those in need and trust the Lord to work according to His wisdom and power.

We anticipate the return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection and gathering of believers, and His future reign. His coming calls the Church to holy living, faithful witness, and confident hope.

There is one eternal God, Creator and Redeemer, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Scripture testifies to His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and exaltation.

Humanity was created good but fell through disobedience, bringing sin, spiritual separation, and death into human experience.

Salvation comes through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection provide forgiveness, regeneration, and new life.

Speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit enables is the initial physical evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit.

Sanctification involves separation from evil and dedication to God. Through union with Christ and the Holy Spirit’s work, believers grow in holiness and obedience.

The Church is the body of Christ, called to proclaim the gospel, worship God, build up believers, and demonstrate compassion to those in need.

God calls and equips ministers to lead the Church in evangelism, worship, discipleship, and compassionate service.

God continues to heal, and the Church is called to pray in faith for the sick in light of Christ’s redeeming work.

We anticipate Christ’s coming for His people, when believers who have died will be raised and living believers will be gathered to Him.

Christ will visibly return and reign on earth for one thousand years. His reign includes the salvation of national Israel and the establishment of universal peace.

God will judge the wicked, and those not found in the Book of Life will face eternal punishment.

We look forward to the new heavens and new earth promised by God, where righteousness will dwell and His people will live with Him forever.
