Host a Small Group
The mission of Small Groups is to lead people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
True life change and spiritual growth happens best in the context of authentic, life-giving relationships and meaningful heart connections. Through small groups, the church becomes more than a weekly meeting; it becomes who we are.
As a small group leader, you can help people move toward a lifestyle of authentic community and spiritual growth. Your group can be the catalyst for people’s lives to be changed forever.
If you are interested in helping others grow into the people God wants them to be, we want to hear from you! Simply fill out and submit the Small Groups Host Application, and we will provide you with the training and the leadership support you need to succeed.

Q. Do I need to be a "Bible Expert to host a small group?
A. Definitely not! The most important things that you need are a desire to serve the members of your group and to grow in your own personal relationship with Jesus Christ. When you take this step of faith, through prayer, God's Holy Spirit will give you what you need to be an effective Host. We have many video curriculums available that provide expert teaching to your life group. Your host responsibility is to facilitate the discussion around that teaching using provided resources.
Q. I would like to Host, but should I wait until I have more experience?
A. If you have a willing heart, a DVD player, and a few open seats in your living room, you are ready to be a Host. Arvin's small group material and recordings are "plug and play" so that any one with any level of experience can Host a successful group.
Q. Can I invite people who don't attend our church?
A. Absolutely! Inform your friends, neighbors, family members, coworkers and casual acquaintances about your small group study. Pray for God's guidance as you can make an eternal difference in the lives of others. While it is not our desire to attract people away from other Bible believing churches, Arvin Assembly's desire is to both connect "unconnected" people at our church and take our next step to reach our "unchurched" community for Jesus Christ through our small groups.
